Atonement and Propitiation
When it comes to the subject of forgiveness, it is very common for people to associate it with atonement. Atonement is often used synonymously with forgiveness, as if they are the same. There is a very strong distinction in the Scriptures between atonement and propitiation. In these two programs, Aaron explains how atonement was used in the Old Covenant to remember sins, and propitiation was used in the New Covenant to no longer remember sins. These programs are definitive contributions to the subject of the forgiveness of our God.
